Jerry Durr
Jerome began designing and fabricating glass art works in 1973 for private residential collectors, commercial projects, ecclesiastical commissions and public surroundings. These architectural setting commissions are accompanied by various art gallery and museum exhibits.
Recent work has incorporated fused glass in balusters of railings, cast pieces in the structure of doors, and slumped dichroic glass in pedestal art pieces. A large thirty-five foot tall sculpture using dichroic glass, laminated to low iron glass and mounted on structural aluminum was engineered and constructed in 1997.
Jerome’s works can be found throughout the United States, in France, Italy, Germany, Kuwait and Sri Lanka.
