I received a B.A. (Honors) in Fine Art and Design from the Glasgow School of Art in 1987and 1993 I graduated from the Royal Collage of Art/Victoria & Albert Museum program with a M.A. in Stained Glass Conservation.  After graduating I taught stained glass conservation in Croatia and later held a position at Goddard and Gibbs Studios Ltd in London where I was Production Manager.  In 1996 I returned to the Victoria and Albert Museum as Senior Conservator in the Stained Glass Conservation Section.  In 2004 I arrived at the Sherman Fairchild Center for Objects Conservation at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York where, as Associate Conservator, I am responsible for the stained glass and architectural glass collection.  I have been a Stained Glass Committee member of the Council for the Care of Churches in the UK and was an active member of the ICON Stained Glass Section, serving as accreditation examiner and its chairman in 2003.  I was recently invited to join the American Corpus Vitrearum as a member of the Conservation Committee.
