Ginger Ferrell
Back in the US after a 24 year absence in London, UK, I am building a home/studio in Charlottesville, Virginia. I work with stained glass in a traditional manner but exposure to kiln-formed glass making at Northlands Creative Glass School in Lybster, Scotland has expanded my range of glass making. Occasionally kiln-formed glass is the sole technique of choice.
Exhibitions and moving have been my main concern recently: Bullseye's “e-merge 2008“, “40cm2“, an exhibition of work by members of The British Society of Master Glass Painters, London, UK, “Gathering Light” Women’s International Glass Workshop in Liverpool’s Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King and “Gathering Light” Women’s International Glass Workshop in Chartres, France.
