Roberto Rosa
Roberto Rosa started
working with stained glass in 1988. He, his wife Maria and their partner,
Domenic Iriti, are principals in Serpentino Stained Glass of Needham,
Massachusetts, which specializes in the conservation of stained glass.
Roberto's most challenging projects have been the
conservation of plated windows, some with up to six layers of glass, by John
La Farge, Louis Comfort Tiffany, Frederick Crowninshield, Maitland Armstrong,
Alexander Locke, Augustus St. Gaudens and Mary Tillinghast.
Besides having vast experience in removal
and installation, in the studio Roberto has great patience and skill with the
use of epoxy and copper foil repair, as well as replication painting. Roberto is a
Professional Associate member of the American Institute for Conservation and a
Founding Member of the American Glass Guild. Roberto
