Michael Mezalick

After a short college stint for Architecture in Philadelphia and at the University of Cork, Ireland for music, in 1970, Michael took up the craft of stained glass.  After a few years of independent work Michael met with Val Sigstedt, Sigstedt Studio, Point Pleasant, PA, and gained a good foundation in the traditional aspects of the craft.

Over the years, Michael has created stained glass windows and traditional mosaics for churches in Japan, the Bahamas, and many locations throughout the United States, including the Marine Corp Base at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii and St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Washington, DC

Michael has also published several articles, one pertaining to the repair and re-displaying of a Tiffany Rose Window which was hidden from view since 1911.
