David Crampton-Barden
Sir David J. Crampton-Barden, is the Principal Lighting Engineer of Sandra Liotus Lighting Design, LLC (SLLD) and in full partnership with Sandra Liotus since 1995. David Crampton-Barden is listed as one of the Top People in the United Kingdom Electronics and Engineering Industry. David has over 20 years experience developing glass fiber optic lighting technology and was educated in St. Edward’s School Oxford in England and then graduating at the top of his class with a Masters Degree in Engineering from Southampton University in England.
Sandra M. Liotus (BFA in Design from Carnegie Mellon University) and Sir David J. Crampton-Barden (Masters of Engineering from Southampton University, England) , Business Partners and Owners of Sandra Liotus Lighting Design, LLC (Newport Rhode Island) and Sandra Liotus Lighting Design, Ltd. (London, England) teamed up in 1995 after they shared successful project involvements in the United States. Sandra and David offer the rare ability in successfully melding together their combined 40+ years of experience in the lighting industry, skills, talents and expertise in art, design, engineering and technology, creating unique lighting solutions worldwide. Working and lecturing on unique and specialized lighting projects, implementing and using custom lighting technologies, keeping their focus on creating discreet, conservation lighting solutions for some of the worlds most valuable private and public art collections; special architectural environments, museum exhibitions, interiors, exteriors and exquisite stained glass masterpieces.
