Karen Long
Karen E. Long is the president of Amethyst Environmental, Ltd., (Amethyst) located in Lee New Hampshire, a consulting firm specializing in environmental health and safety services. Karen is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Tufts University. She is a certified Hazardous Material Manager, Certified Environmental Inspector, Certified Environmental Consultant and Certified Environmental Trainer. She is a member of the National Environmental Training Association (NETA) and the National Association of Women in Construction. She was the NAWIC Tradeswoman of the Year in 2005
Amethyst staff experience includes all aspects of environmental safety and health consulting. Projects completed by our professional staff include site evaluations for safety and chemical hazards in industrial and non-industrial settings, OSHA compliance audits, development and implementation of various site safety and health programs, air and hazardous material surveys, recommendations for remediation, program design and implementation assistance.
