Service Description

Advanced Lead Work: You've copper foiled and maybe leaded some panels and are ready to up your lead game. We're going to discuss lead as a structural element of your work and techniques for solving glazing problems. At the end you'll have the fundamentals of joinery, basket weaving, plating and some soldering tricks. We'll have a full day of talking bench mechanics and be building a little panel or two to get hands on practice. Beginners welcome as long as everyone has copper foil experience. Graham grew up in Massachusetts, was an exchange student to Germany in high school, and attended Marlboro College in Vermont. After college he had an apprenticeship learning leaded glass with Wendy West in Florida before settling in Washington, DC. In DC, his day job was historic window and door restoration but he set up a stall selling his glasswork on the weekends at Eastern Market. In 2012 he joined the team at Whitney Stained Glass Studio in Cleveland, Ohio. When not in the studio you might find him hiking dogs in the national park, playing guitar, or driving and listening to the radio.
