Mark is an authoritative voice in coldworking, being the man behind HIS Glassworks. He not only knows virtually all of the processes involved, but also how to implement them without setting up a dedicated coldwork studio. This Zoom will focus on what is applicable to the Art Glass community. Coldworking encompasses hand grinding using silicon carbide, machine grinding with diamonds, cutting, sandblasting, sawing, gluing and more. This can seem like an esoteric endeavor, but Mark makes it accessible. As the CEO of HIS Glassworks with 30 years of experience he is likely to answer any question about coldworking that is presented. He's a nice guy too!
