We Need and Value Your Input
We believe that a diverse community of people who share an interest in glass art can achieve great things when we work together.  We value your ideas and opinions about how we can work to achieve our mission of education.  Contact us at info@americanglassguild.org, or contact one of our board members to share your thoughts about how we can do things better or take the next step.

Tell Us What You’re Up To

We would love to know what exciting things you’ve been doing in your own work.  If you’ve published a paper, written a book, received an award or recognition, completed a major project, please let us know — and send us pictures!

Help Us Plan Our Future Conferences

We are always thinking ahead about where we should hold our next annual conference.  Suggestions about sites that may be of interest to stained glass enthusiasts and glass artists are always welcome.  Better yet, if you are willing to serve as a local host or conference coordinator in your locale, please let us know! Watch also for our yearly Call for Papers deadline to apply as a speaker/presenter at one of our conferences.

Consider Entering The American Glass Now Exhibition

Our juried exhibition American Glass Now has been well received by every venue in which the show has been installed, including the St. Augustine Art Association, the Glencairn Museum in Bryn Athyn, PA, the University of Chicago, and the Washington National Cathedral.  Please think about submitting your design idea to be consider for this exhibition and for a possible American Glass Guild Award of Excellence, the AGNX Award.

Support Our Efforts in Education

Our yearly Silent and Live Auction is the major source of funding for the AGG’s activities and is the sole source of funds for the James C. Whitney Scholarship Fund.  Please consider how you can donate goods and services to support this effort.  Expect to hear from us during the winter and spring as we prepare for this event! Donations of original art, glass art or stained glass panels are among the most valuable and make the greatest impact, so please consider how you can participate.

Get Involved!

As they say, “many hands make light work,” and that’s true for the work of the American Glass Guild!  The more members we can get involved in the planning and implementation of our activities, the easier it is on everyone.  We are a 100% volunteer organization!  There is no paid staff.  All of us have other work obligations and contribute to the AGG because we believe in its mission and value a community of people who share common interests in glass.  Please consider volunteering your time and talent to help us do great things! Contact any one of our Committee members to find out what you can do to help.

Thank you for providing us with feedback, and especially for considering to volunteer with the American Glass Guild. As a 100% Volunteer-run organization, new volunteers are the life-blood of our organization, and literally nothing can happen without them. No matter how little you think you can help out, you can still help out! Reach out to us, we look forward to keeping the AGG a thriving organization!
